We shoot using the Nikon NEF RAW
format. All original photograph images are not manipulated and left in
their native digital format. Before any digital darkroom work is
accomplished, the original RAW images are copied to Compact Disc (2
copies, kept in separate locations) and stored on one internal hard
drive and one external hard drive. After six months, the hard drives
will be purged. Digital images are brought from the camera
to the digital darkroom using Nikon Capture, then sent to Photoshop.
Proofs and prints are processed in Photoshop. All printing
that CameraView produces in-house are products of an Epson Stylus
Photo 2200 and all Epson inks. We use a variety of paper types, with a
preference to the Illford and Epson products.
